Hello,
It's week three of the chest cold that just won't quit. Have tried all the standard remedies, the advertised "cures." Am now trying home-made healing: chicken soup, which is starting to make me cackle, honey and lemon in my tea, not a fave combo, especially with Earl Grey, and the old bromide, "feed a cold, starve a fever." Pretty sure I've gained five pounds, unless wheezing and hacking are aerobic, but not lost the cold.
I know, there are far worse miseries out there.
Will try to suck it up and not be a major league complainer.
My friends say, "try vitamin C, don't eat anything sweet (does the honey count?) and get lots of fresh air. (are they kidding?) And STAY AWAY."
So, will eat a pickle, take my "C," and open the bedroom window. Will also strive to be more creative when well.
Mavis
